The drilling fluid shear pump is a solids control equipment that can quickly configure and process mud, and can meet the requirements of configuring high-performance mud. Structure and working principle
The drilling fluid shear pump consists of an impeller, a volute, a support, a packing box, a drive shaft, a pulley, a combined belt, a motor and a support.
The impeller of the drilling fluid shear pump is different from the impeller of the general water pump, and the structure is more complicated.
It is the core component of the shear pump and has high shear efficiency. The impeller is mainly composed of five parts: axial turbine, storage tank, pump wheel, pressurized cabin and shear plate. The axial turbine, pump wheel, and storage tank are precision casted into a whole with stainless steel, and the structure is very compact.
The axial flow turbine provides fluid with a certain displacement and capacity for the pump wheel and the storage tank. 50% of the fluid is discharged into the volute through the pump wheel, and 50% is absorbed by the storage tank. The unique design of the pressurized cabin enables the fluid in the storage cabin to have a certain amount of energy.
The fluid discharged through the pump wheel flows parallel to the shear plate with a higher flow rate. The fluid sucked in by the storage tank is sprayed perpendicular to the shear plate through 44 nozzles.
After the jet fluid is mixed with the fluid discharged from the pump wheel, it impacts the serrations of the outer circle of the shear plate at a higher flow rate, and the serrations of the shear plate rotating at a high speed will shear the fluid again. Therefore, the fluid flowing through the impeller undergoes multiple shearing actions.
